The Connecticut DEEP, Forestry Division, has a mission of promoting healthy and diverse forest ecosystems. Fulfilling this mission includes owning and managing over 175,000 acres of State Forest land in Connecticut, including over 2,100 acres in the Town of Ashford.
Please join representatives from the Connecticut Forestry Division to learn more about forest management efforts on State Forest land in the Town of Ashford, and other forestry services offered to private and municipal woodland owners through the DEEP Service Forestry Program.
The talk will include a brief presentation and ample time for questions.
