Upcoming Program:Nature's Best Hope Ashford Conservation Commission w Pollinator Pathways Tuesday, June 4, at 6 pm Knowlton Memorial HallIf one is feeling discouraged in a time of increasingly bad news regarding climate change and decreasing bird populations and pollinator species... this book offers hope and practical actions. The Conservation Commission will talk about yard size conservation, why non-native species are harmful, and the importance of insects to the rest of the food web.Family activities related to seeds and planting will be available. The pollinators pathways group will have seeds available and handouts to take home.The library has multiple copies of the adult and children's editions of Nature's Best Hope.
