Visit Babcock Library to learn introductory sewing skills!
Over the course of four sessions, participants will learn about, and practice, basic sewing techniques.
Topics and Activities:

The different types of fabric and what’s important to know about the differences
 - 
Using an electric sewing machine straight stitch
 - 
Basic sewing rules to maximize getting the best outcome
 - 
Make a simple sachel
 
Fabric and machines* are provided by the instructor
*machines for use IN the Library
Who this class is for:
- 
Individuals with little to no sewing experience
 - 
Limited to four participants ages 12+
 
Dates: Four consecutive Fridays 10 am – 12 noon
