ZINE PRESENTATION & WORKSHOP

! Learn About and Make Zines !

Babcock Library’s First Ever ZINE Workshop!

What are Zines you ask? Zines have been here for decades! Born from the term “fanzine,” a zine is a limited-circulation, small press or self-made publication of original content. Zines can feature or focus on just about anything – poetry, personal writing, fan works, art, photography. If you can put it on paper, you can put it in a zine!

  • Massachusetts Artist Mossy Bee will present a workshop on the history, concept, and methodology of Zines here in Knowlton Memorial Hall on

Monday, August 25, @ 1 pm.

  • Participants will learn about and make Zines here, plus receive a take-home Zine Making kit. One lucky participant will win the popular Zine book Stolen Sharpie Revolution.

  • Please register in advance for this event by contacting the LIBRARY@ 860-487-4420.

This event is suitable for teens and adults

Bee’s published Zines will be available for purchase at the program.

The event is finished.
