This year we will have 4 age groups:
Preschool/Kindergarten (age 6 and under, not yet completed 1st grade)
School Age (age 6 - 15, entering grades 2 - 10)
Teen (ages 13-19)
and Adult (ages 16 and up)
The two younger groups will earn "Babcock Buggy Bucks" based on the amount of time they spend reading. These "bucks" can be used to buy prizes or to take chances in prize drawings. In the teen and adult programs, participants earn one chance at a prize for each book that they read.
This year's summer reading program begins on Friday, June 20 and ends on Friday, August 15. You may sign up during regular library hours anytime on or after June 20. All prizes must be claimed by Friday, August 22.
